43 College Panhellenics Across the U.S. and Canada Recognized for Excellence and Achievement in Panhellenic Operations

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), one of the largest advocacy and support organizations for women, today announced that 43 College Panhellenic Associations are being recognized with awards for excellence and achievement in their work to advance the sorority experience throughout 2017-18.

“The College Panhellenic Associations being recognized have excelled in all areas of Panhellenic operations and met the core competencies of reporting and communication,” said Frances Mitchelson, NPC Panhellenic chairman. “We are proud of their hard work and dedication to upholding high standards for their College Panhellenic and ensuring the sorority experience is beneficial for all members on their campus.”

NPC has recognized student-led College Panhellenic Associations with awards for more than 50 years and has used the excellence and achievement structure since 2013. With NPC member organization chapters located at more than 670 U.S. and Canadian colleges and universities, only the top scoring groups are honored.

College Panhellenic Associations are cooperatives comprised of all NPC member sororities on a campus. They are scored on seven criteria of value to all campuses. The 25 Excellence Award recipients met all seven criteria. The 18 Achievement Award recipients met five or six criteria.

The seven criteria are:
