National Panhellenic Conference Recognizes Outstanding Alumnae Panhellenic Associations for 2017-18

By August 1, 2018Press Release

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), one of the largest advocacy and support organizations for women, today announced that 47 Alumnae Panhellenic Associations were recognized with the Citation of Merit award for 2017-18 and 52 Alumnae Panhellenic Associations were recognized for Programming Excellence in 2017-18.

NPC annually recognizes Alumnae Panhellenics for their outstanding achievements. NPC area coordinators who work directly with Alumnae Panhellenics evaluate the Alumnae Panhellenics and nominate them for awards based on their programming accomplishments, work to build positive relationships with College Panhellenics, efforts to promote the sorority experience, submission of the Alumnae Panhellenic annual report and continued administration of their Alumnae Panhellenic.

“Alumnae Panhellenic Associations play an important role in helping advance the sorority experience,” said Frances Mitchelson, NPC Panhellenics chairman. “Their members inform sorority women of current trends, improve the Panhellenic image and stimulate a continuing interest in Panhellenic involvement across generations. We are pleased to publicly recognize the chapters who exemplify the Panhellenic spirit and demonstrate Panhellenic excellence every day.”
