National Panhellenic Conference Announces 2023-25 Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), the umbrella group for 26 inter/national sororities, today announced the women who will serve on the 2023-25 NPC Board of Directors

The 2023-25 directors are:
• Kelly Beck, Alpha Sigma Alpha
• Angie Fellers, Chi Omega
• Michelle Geiger, Kappa Alpha Theta
• Jenna Lutz, Alpha Omicron Pi
• Frances Mitchelson, Phi Mu (appointed in rotation)
• Patty O’Neill, Alpha Delta Pi
• Melanie Schild, Kappa Delta (appointed in rotation)


Kelly Beck was elected to serve as chair of the board.

“We are pleased to announce the new board of directors,” said Dani Weatherford, NPC chief
executive officer. “Together, they will leverage their unique backgrounds, experiences, perspectives
and skill sets to set the strategic direction for the Conference and create a vision for the sorority
experience of the future.”

The new board begins its term of service on July 1 with the start of NPC’s new fiscal year. “All of us
look forward to working with the new chair and directors as they begin their roles as stewards for
the Conference and champions of how NPC and our member organizations advance the sorority
experience together,” Weatherford concluded.


About NPC’s Governance Structure
The NPC structure and governance model includes a seven-member Board of Directors consisting of five
members elected to service by the Council of Delegates and two directors appointed by their member
organization (on a rotational basis). The NPC chair is also elected by the Council of Delegates.
The Board of Directors has authority and responsibility for overseeing the affairs of the Conference. They
establish corporate policy, set the strategic direction, provide fiduciary oversight and monitor organizational performance.


The Council of Delegates consists of one representative from each of NPC’s 26 member organizations and
has primary responsibility for Conference membership, Unanimous Agreements and Panhellenic policies.
The NPC workforce, both staff and volunteers, is led by the CEO and charged with accomplishing the work of the Conference.
