Indianapolis, Indiana – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and NPC Foundation have donated $25,000 in continued partnership with the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence (FFE)’s Amplifying Sorority research project.  This contribution underscores the organization’s commitment to data-driven storytelling about the impact of lifelong sorority membership.

“NPC is committed to investing in our sorority community, to learning more about our current and future members, and to articulating the significance of the sorority experience,” said Kelly Beck, NPC chair. “In today’s changing world, it is imperative that we continue to invest in research to grow and champion the sorority experience.”

The Amplifying Sorority effort is influenced by NPC sorority leadership to benefit the sorority experience directly. In alignment with NPC strategic priorities and building upon previously conducted research, this project will include studies to assist in driving membership growth and retention, as well as increasing affinity and enhancing the alumnae experience. The Amplifying Sorority effort has a goal of at least ten research projects by 2026, with actionable toolkits and research insights provided to sorority community leaders for quick implementation.

“The NPC Foundation exists to support our sorority community,” said Diane Straker, NPC Foundation president, “We are proud to partner in this effort to put more research and information into the hands of our sorority leaders.”

FFE has established the Industry Research – Women’s Initiatives Fund to receive organizational and individual gifts designated to advance women’s fraternal organization research initiatives. The Women’s Research Committee, comprised of sorority executives, inter/national presidents, staff from NPC and industry leaders, with authorization from the FFE Board, will guide the use of this fund.
