Speakers
Micah Kamrass︱Attorney, Fraternal Law Partners
Micah’s practice focuses on higher education law, real estate law and election/campaign finance law. In his higher education law practice, Micah serves as general counsel and special counsel to numerous international fraternities and sororities and their affiliated entities. Micah assists NPC regularly by representing the interests of our community to university administrators who have taken policy positions that run counter to the rights of our members. Most notably, Micah is leading the legal effort against the University of Maryland.
Micah attended The Ohio State University as an undergraduate, graduate and law school student. While there, he served as student body president, representing 40,000 students. Micah was also president of The Ohio State University chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi and served as a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi International Supreme Board of Governors. In addition to his law degree, Micah has a doctorate in higher education leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University. Micah serves as an adjunct professor of higher education law at the University of Louisville and Vanderbilt University.
Rebecca Rausch︱Senior Vice President and Partner, FleishmanHillard
Rebecca Rausch is one of FleishmanHillard’s leading reputation management and issues/crisis communications counselors. She is a hands-on strategist who regularly works with boards of directors, c-suite executives and their teams to help grow their brands and protect their reputations in an increasingly volatile global landscape. Rebecca leads FleishmanHillard’s work with the NPC, which includes helping the organization prepare for and manage issues and media opportunities, branding efforts and general reputation counsel. She also leads or supports efforts for several individual Panhellenic organizations.
As a former television reporter and spokeswoman for a high-profile governor, Rebecca is an experienced media trainer. She has conducted media training sessions for CEOs and other executives, business owners, non-profit organizations, public officials and others. She’s prepared top executives for major national interviews, including the New York Times, USA Today, CNN, 60 Minutes, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX News and more. Before joining FleishmanHillard, Rebecca served as the deputy director of communications for the Governor of Illinois and was an anchor and political reporter for several television stations. She received her bachelor of journalism—broadcast from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
Meghan Parker︱Committee Chair, Amplifying Sorority
Meghan is the executive director for Zeta Tau Alpha’s International Office. Prior to returning as executive director in 2016, she served on staff from 2005-09 in multiple roles, including traveling for the organization as a leadership consultant. From 2009-16, Meghan worked as a campus-based professional at St. Edwards University and Texas State University.
Meghan graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She lives in Westfield, Indiana, with her husband Aaron, their three children, Hayden, Elliot and Charleigh Mae, and their two dogs.
Morgan Schlueter︱Vice President, FleishmanHillard St. Louis
Morgan Schlueter is a vice president in FleishmanHillard’s Public Affairs and Engagement group, where she leads issues/crisis management to drive reputation goals for her clients. Morgan actively manages day-to-day and ongoing crisis communications to help clients prepare for, respond to and move beyond reputational challenges. Morgan supports the NPC with reputation management, media opportunities and branding efforts. She also supports efforts for several additional Panhellenic organizations. Outside of NPC, Morgan works with clients in higher education, food and beverage, healthcare and insurance to help shape thought leadership strategies and articulate their perspectives on critical business and societal topics.
Before joining FleishmanHillard, Morgan supported higher education clients at Standing Partnership, a boutique public relations firm. Morgan holds a bachelor of journalism—strategic communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.
Ashley VanDewark︱Executive Director, Foundation for Fraternal Excellence
Ashley has served as the executive director of the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence since June 2018, implementing major changes immediately through a new brand, growth in programs and adoption of the foundation’s first strategic plan. She joined the staff of the former NIC Foundation in March 2017 after serving her organization Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity as a leadership consultant and later as assistant director of fraternity services-extension, overseeing the establishment and growth of new collegiate chapters.
She also gained extensive project and growth management experience as a business development manager for an entrepreneurial group that builds businesses focused on providing educational, engagement and experiential opportunities. In March of 2023, Ashley became a Gallup-certified strengths coach to help others improve their quality of life inside and outside of work by capitalizing on their innate strengths.
