Interfraternal Partner Awards

Will Foran︱Executive Director, Foundation for Fraternal Excellence

NPC honors Will Foran (Phi Mu Delta) with the 2025 NPC Interfraternal Partner Award, which recognizes an individual who has played an important role in the Conference’s advancement. Earlier this year, Foran transitioned from his role as chief operating officer for the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) to his current position as executive director of the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence (FFE).

“As our volunteer and staff leadership has evolved over time, Will has been consistently engaged in deep collaboration and partnership with NPC and our community. We are deeply grateful for Will’s work alongside our own,” said Dani Weatherford, NPC chief executive officer.

Foran served the NIC in various roles for nearly 20 years, working on a sometimes daily basis with NPC staff and volunteers to develop educational programming for collegiate communities, advance relationships with university administrators, and promote the interfraternal experience. Foran is honored for his service and dedicated partnership with NPC during his tenure at NIC.

Micah Kamrass︱Attorney, Manley Burke

NPC honors Micah Kamrass (Alpha Epsilon Pi), a partner at the Manley Burke law firm, with the 2025 NPC Interfraternal Partner Award. Kamrass has advocated on behalf of the rights of NPC, the sorority community and individual member organizations throughout the course of his career. Most recently, Kamrass provided key guidance to the Conference during and after the University of Maryland took unconstitutional measures against our member organizations on its campus.

“Micah’s thoughtful and practical legal advice to NPC, our member organizations and the larger community provides a sense of stability to all of us.  Plus, Micah’s own fraternal experience adds extra passion to his efforts to help protect our organizations for generations to come,” shared Dani Weatherford, NPC chief executive officer.

2025 NPC Distinguished Service Awards

Patty O’Neill

NPC honors Patty O’Neill, Alpha Delta Pi, with the 2025 Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes an individual for lifelong service to the interfraternal community or NPC. For more than 30 years, O’Neill has served as both a volunteer and staff member, and in 2025, concluded four years of service on the NPC Board of Directors. She began her career as NPC’s Coordinator of Educational Programs, the first professional staff member of the NPC office. From 1993 to 1996, she developed educational programming for Panhellenic Councils and regional alumnae associations.  Since that time, O’Neill has served in numerous other roles for NPC, including area advisor, delegate, strategic planning committee member, NPC Foundation president and secretary, and most recently as chair of the NPC Board’s Governance and Education Committee.

“Patty’s continuous and unwavering service to Alpha Delta Pi, NPC and the fraternity/sorority industry is an example to future generations that inspires dedication and support for the sorority experience,” said Kelly Beck, 2023-25 NPC chair.

Marian Williams

NPC also honors Marian Williams, Kappa Kappa Gamma, with the 2025 Distinguished Service Award. Williams began serving as an NPC delegate in 1991, and since that time, she has held various leadership roles with NPC. In 1995, she entered the NPC Executive Committee rotation. During the 1999 NPC General Session, Williams assumed the role of chair on the NPC Board of Directors, leading the conference into a new millennium.

She was also a driving force behind groundbreaking initiatives like Something of Value and she championed programs that addressed risk management, academic excellence, drug education, mental health and more—long before these topics became part of the national conversation. She also served as one of the original incorporators of the NPC Foundation laying the groundwork for the financial stewardship and philanthropic support that sustains our educational and leadership efforts today.

2025 NPC Impact Award

Amplifying Sorority Campaign

NPC honors the Amplifying Sorority Campaign with the 2025 NPC Impact Award, which recognizes timely and exemplary service or leadership in a role or task that has made a specific impact on the sorority movement or NPC.

The Amplifying Sorority Research Committee and Campaign Committee, in partnership with the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence and NPC, have led a project that will result in at least ten research projects and provide actionable recommendations to apply the data and share findings with stakeholders. These committees, led by nearly two dozen sorority members and industry experts have raised funds and implemented an ambitious portfolio of work, bringing it to reality, with more to come.

During the past two years alone, the Amplifying Sorority Campaign has provided our community with valuable insights on topics such as the mental health of sorority women, Gen Z market research and personas and retention studies to guide member organization decision-making. Robust toolkits have accompanied data and research to turn insights into action, produced by a cross-functional team of industry experts from within the sorority community.

“The research funded and guided by the Amplifying Sorority Campaign has provided NPC and the sorority community with tangible data points that allow us to market the sorority experience to potential members,” said Kelly Beck, 2023-25 NPC chair, “This transformational work has already become part of our DNA as a community and is guiding the strategy of leaders across the industry.”
