INDIANAPOLIS — The National Panhellenic Conference Foundation (NPC Foundation), whose mission is to support NPC priorities and initiatives that enhance the sorority experience, today announced the members of its 2022-24 Board of Trustees. In addition, the NPC Foundation recognized three outgoing trustees for their dedication to serving the NPC Foundation.
The 2022-24 NPC Foundation Board of Trustees:
- Diane Straker, Alpha Phi, president.
- Alicia Adams, Alpha Gamma Delta.
- Cindy Jarboe, Kappa Kappa Gamma.
- Carole Jones, Alpha Omicron Pi.
- Desiree Paulhamus, Sigma Sigma Sigma.
Laura Sweet also serves as a trustee via her role as the NPC Board of Directors liaison to the NPC Foundation. Dani Weatherford, J.D., continues as the NPC Foundation’s chief executive.
“The Board of Trustees sets the direction for how NPC Foundation funds are managed and awarded,” said NPC Foundation CEO Dani Weatherford, J.D. “This includes their ongoing financial support for Conference programming such as College Panhellenic Academy and their support of scholarships to help undergraduate and graduate sorority women better afford the cost of higher education as well as new initiatives that arise during the year.”
Diane Straker, president of the NPC Foundation Board of Trustees, said, “I look forward to working with the new and returning trustees as we begin this term of service. Together, we will work to advance the NPC Foundation’s mission and fulfill its purpose in support of the sorority experience.”
The NPC Foundation also recognized the commitment to service of three outgoing trustees:
- Barbie Chadwick, Gamma Phi Beta.
- Carol Helmus, Delta Delta Delta.
- Sarah Hughes, Alpha Delta Pi.
In recognizing the outgoing trustees, Weatherford said, “All of us at the NPC Foundation are grateful to Barbie, Carol and Sarah for their commitment to the NPC Foundation over many years of service. They have given freely of their time to ensure the Foundation is carefully managing its funds and visibly and collaboratively supporting NPC initiatives.”
