INDIANAPOLIS – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) has announced the recipients of the second annual Centennial Scholarship awards. These scholarships were created in 2023 to help young women achieve their undergraduate education more affordably.
“NPC has a rich history of working to make higher education more affordable for women,” stated Dani Weatherford, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NPC. “The NPC Centennial Scholarships is yet another initiative to improve college access.”
To be eligible, applicants had to be current high school seniors and attending an undergraduate university in the fall of 2024. They also had to submit a resume, letter of recommendation and a short essay about their experiences with service and leadership in women-only organizations.
Ten scholarships were awarded to college-going high school women in the amount of $2,000 each based on academic pursuits, school/extra-curricular involvement and community involvement.
